100 Gardens is a compilation of books 001-099 of Miniature Garden, a publishing project I started in 2008 with a focus on collaborative and individual artist books.

In this moment of 2025, the disorienting shape of days filled with uncertainty, hate and cruelty push up against root systems, creations forming, and steadfast commitments to change. Growing up I spent hours in used book stores and record stores searching through dust and water-damage, hunting for what might be obscure or random treasures, guideposts to collapse into, the more marked up, the more looked through, the better. So here is my contribution, a little dance, a clown car with me at the wheel, the pain and the balm of loving and connecting to one another, staying together and making new shapes of new days through the exchange of ideas in book form.
